How to do the Bowel Screening Test (FIT)

The Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) is a simple, highly effective screening tool used to detect tiny amounts of blood in your bowel motion that aren’t visible to the naked eye. To ensure the most accurate results, please follow these steps carefully.

1

Use the paper flap or a clean container to collect your bowel motion.

2

Scrape the stick across the surface until the tip is well covered.

3

Click the stick into the tube. Sign and date your consent form.

4

Place the tube and form in the envelope. Post as soon as possible.
